You may start lessons at any point during the year! You can also print the registration form HERE and bring it to your first lesson.
Tuition

Lessons are once per week. Tuition for the year is divided evenly so that the fee remains the same every month.

Payment Policies
Payment can be made in person by cash, check, or credit card. At the time of registration we will ask you to pay for the first month of lessons and the last month of lessons, and a one-time $25 registration fee.
Thereafter, payment must be made monthly by automated credit card charges or in person. Payment is due during the first week of each month. A $25 late fee will be added to all payments received after the 12th of each month. Students that have not paid by the 20th day of the month will lose their spot in the teacher's schedule.

Open Door Policy
Please feel free to visit with your child's teacher regarding progress, weekly assignments, and practice schedules. Parents are welcome to observe private lessons at any time.
Attendance Policies
Missed lesson make-ups are a courtesy of the teacher and are not guaranteed. Lessons may be eligible for make-up only: if the absence is called in at least 24 hours in advance or if you leave a voicemail or send an email before 10:00 AM on the day of the lesson, if the absence is due to illness or family emergency, and if the teacher has availability in their schedule. A make-up lesson must be scheduled withing 30 days of being incurred, or it will be forfeited. Please choose a lesson time that you can commit to on a regular basis. Any lessons missed on scheduled holidays or on the weeks of school breaks will not be rescheduled, regardless of the reason for the absence or if the absence is called in compliance with the Attendance Policy.
All of our teachers are also professional performing musicians. Occasionally, they may miss a lesson due to another engagement. When this happens, a qualified substitute instructor may teach your lesson without notice. If a substitute is not available, the teacher will provide a make-up day in a timely manner.
Kingwood Music School will close in the event of inclement weather. Due to the teachers' schedules, there are no guaranteed make-ups for lessons missed due to severe weather.
If you choose to withdraw from lessons during the school year, please email us written notice of your intention to withdraw. We must receive notice 30 days before the effective date of withdrawal, or else the student will still be responsible for the next month's tuition.
