A $25 late fee will be added to all payments received after the 12th of each month. Students that have not paid by the 20th day of the month will lose their spot in the teacher's schedule.

Open Door Policy
Please feel free to visit with your child's teacher regarding progress, weekly assignments, and practice schedules. Parents are welcome to observe private lessons at any time.
Attendance Policies
Missed lesson make-ups are a courtesy of the teacher and may be available if the teacher has time in their schedule, and if they are due to illness or family emergency, but are not guaranteed. If you need to miss a lesson, please call the Kingwood Music School at least 24 hours in advance. Any lessons that are missed with less than 24 hours notice can not be made up. A make-up lesson must be scheduled within a month of being incurred. When registering, please choose a lesson time that you can commit to on a regular basis.
All of our teachers are also professional performing musicians, and may occasionally have to miss a lesson due to another engagement. Sometimes a qualified substitute instructor may teach the lesson without notice. If a substitute is not available, any lesson missed by a teacher will be made up in a timely manner.
Kingwood Music School will close in the event of inclement weather.
If you choose to withdraw from lessons during the school year, please email us written notice of your intention to withdraw. We must receive notice 30 days before the effective date of withdrawal, or else the student will still be responsible for the next month's tuition.
