Suzuki Violin Club
"Musical ability is not an inborn talent but an ability which can be developed. Any child who is properly trained can develop musical ability, just as all children develop the ability to speak their native language. The potential of every child is unlimited."
-Shinichi Suzuki Weekly group classes supplement private violin lessons, allowing young students a social environment in which they learn from each other and create music together! The Suzuki method is a powerful approach to music instruction, based on the belief that children can learn to play an instrument as easily as they learn to speak their native language. In the Violin Club, students will experience the joy of collaboration and a social musical environment. Kingwood Music School is proud to offer a Suzuki program with teachers that are trained and accredited through the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Thursdays, 4:00 - 4:45 PM |
Violin Chamber Class
Weekly group classes allow advancing violin students to practice ensemble music, giving them the experience they need to excel in school orchestras, Texas state UIL competitions, and Solo and Ensemble contests.
Other benefits of group classes include increased confidence in playing in front of an audience, greater personal motivation, and a deeper commitment to their own lessons. Students are more likely to progress quickly. Most of all, they have fun!
