Matthew Chauvin, trumpet, euphonium and trombone
Matthew has a wide and varied musical background as a performer and educator. He is an accomplished pianist, and holds a bachelors degree in music from Nicholls State University. He was a band director and marching instructor in Louisiana at the middle school and high school level, and also marched with the Cavalier Drum and Bugle Corps.
Matthew has performed and toured extensively with various blues bands as a guitarist, bassist, trombonist, and vocalist, and has also done solo acoustic cover and songwriter shows. He is a dedicated pedagogue who excels at teaching music to young students.
