Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly was raised in Houston, Texas. He began his musical journey with piano lessons at
the age of six and joined the Houston Children's Chorus as a charter member at the age of ten.
At eleven, he started studying percussion, later attending The High School for Performing and
Visual Arts and The Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
Mr. Kelly has built a successful career as a freelance musician, performing with various artists in
diverse musical style, and ensembles across the region and state. His work with the Houston-
based group The Suffers has taken him to five continents and appearances on television shows
such as Jimmy Kimmel Live and Late Night with David Letterman. His versatility has enabled him
to collaborate with esteemed Houston arts organizations including Theater Under the Stars,
The Alley Theatre, The Houston Grand Opera, and The Houston Symphony.
Now residing in Kingwood, Mr. Kelly extends his gratitude to his wife Maritza and children Kaz
and Maggie for their support.
