Juliana Jordan, harp
|
Juliana Jordan is a Kingwood native harpist offering services locally and in the Greater Houston area. She began taking lever harp private lessons at eleven years old, and switched to pedal harp as she started high school. She was an active student musician for both academic UIL opportunities and in summer camps, such as AFA and the Houston Summer Harp Festival, where she later returned as an intern.
Juliana was rewarded a harp performance scholarship to pursue a degree at the University of Houston's Moores School of Music underneath the instruction of Hope Cowan. She has performed alongside the Kingwood Pops, Symphony Inspira, and the Moores Symphony Orchestra, being a part of ensemble music ranging from modern songs to classical operas such as Turandot. Juliana loves learning all sorts of solo repertoire, and has performed in restaurants, shops, and other private formal events. |
