Ethan Ratcliff
A native and proud Houstonian, Ethan Ratcliff is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in guitar, bass guitar and drum set percussion. He displays proficiency in all three in jazz, rock, pop and metal.
Ethan has always been passionate about sharing his love of music, and has taught professionally since his high school years. He started his his own student rock band, guiding the young musicians-to-be into an electrifying experience. Ethan has studied in the music performance degree program at Lone Star College in Cy-Fair, where he currently serves as core drummer and first chair guitarist. He also plays both of those roles in the Lone Star Big Band Jazz Ensemble.
As a committed teacher and pedagogue, Ethan believes that music is not just a fun hobby, but a way of understanding and expressing oneself in a way known only to the arts.
