Antonio Adame

Picture
Antonio Adame is a voice teacher, opera singer, and composer from Houston, TX. After completing his Master of Music degree with an emphasis in Music Pedagogy (Vocal), Mr. Adame began his voice teaching career in the Houston metropolitan area, where he enthusiastically instructs at the high school level at various schools.

At Texas Woman’s University, he studied music composition under Dr. Paul David Thomas, where he premiered and performed several of his solo vocal works, including the song cycle Requiem for the Heart (2023). Additionally, Mr. Adame obtained his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Abilene Christian University.

Mr. Adame’s teaching philosophy involves collaborating with and inspiring musicians by implementing approachable teaching methods to teach vocal techniques that empower them to love their voices, both as musicians and as people. One of the teaching methods he proudly integrates is culturally responsive teaching by exemplifying his students’ culture, heritage, and backgrounds through the art of song. Mr. Adame is well-versed in teaching many singing styles, including classical, mariachi, and pop.
