Aaron Bielish, violin and viola
Aaron Bielish brings a diverse and distinguished musical background to Kingwood Music School. He began his formal studies at the University of Calgary, where he explored visual art, music performance, and electronic composition, ultimately earning a Bachelor of Music Performance. Aaron continued his education at Rice University’s prestigious Shepherd School of Music, where he was accepted into the Master of Music program. Following his graduation from Rice, he earned a position with the Chicago Civic Orchestra, the renowned training ensemble for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He also holds a Master of Fine Arts with a focus in Sound Art from the University of Houston.
Aaron serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Lone Star College–Kingwood, where he teaches both Strings and Fine Arts. An active performer in the greater Houston area, he is equally at home on the viola and violin, performing regularly with a variety of professional ensembles. He is currently a member of Relative Dissonance, a unique group of composer-performers. He lives in Kingwood with his wife and two children.
