Early Childhood Music 

 

Loren Zawodny (Mr. Z) is a fun and energetic performer and music teacher in the Houston area. He sings and entertains with a variety of musical instruments. In addition to teaching private guitar and piano lessons for all ages, he also teaches early-childhood music classes at local preschools.

 

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Loren has played the guitar, piano, and violin since he was 6 years old. He studied music at Wright State University, University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Southern Methodist University. His guitar teachers have included Leo Brouwer, Roland Dyens, Oscar Ghiglia, Pepe Romero, Doug Neidt, Robert Guthrie, and many others.

 

In addition to his music career, Zawodny is also a certified teacher and former librarian. He lives in the Conroe-area with his wife, Karla, and their 3 dogs, Tasha, Honda, and Zuki.

 

Loren has put together a class designed for adult beginner guitar.  The goal of the class is to provide a firm foundation for future group or private study, and have some fun while you're at it!
